Earlier this week, on #TalkToMeTuesday to be exact, I met online in a virtual conference room with several nurse practitioners and NP students to chat about MidlevelU’s new post-graduate training program for nurse practitioners, Midlevels for the Medically Underserved (MMU). Despite a few initial technical difficulties (gotta love technology!), we reviewed key components of participation in MMU.
If you have questions about what life as a Midlevels for the Medically Underserved participant might look like, aren’t quite sure how the program works, or are interested in learning more for future consideration, we recorded Tuesday’s webinar so you can check it out, too. Here’s what we covered in the presentation:
- Why Midlevels for the Medically Underserved?
- MMU objectives
- Expectations of MMU participants
- Compensation and benefits
- Program structure and curriculum
- Site locations and settings
- The application and matching process
- Life after MMU
To check out the recorded webinar, log in to MyMidlevelU, click ‘eCourses’, and select Webinar Recap: Midlevels for the Medically Underserved. Happy rerun watching!
