Job Description

Acute Nurse Practitioner or Family Nurse Practitioner needed for interventional cardiology. The principle duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to performing pre-procedure assessments, histories and physicals, education and counseling of patients on cardiac disease and treatments. The NP will be responsible for tentative diagnosis, ordering and providing preliminary interpretation of lab studies, the post procedure management of patient and assisting with discharging of patient.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, starting at either 7 am or 9 am with no weekend or call coverage, working at the hospital only (no in-office work). 

The Acute NP or FNP must have a minimum of 2 years experience functioning as a NP with Cardiac Cath and Invasive Cardiology patients and a minimum of 3 years experience in clinical nursing. Must have knowledge of pharmacology principles, dysrhythmia, ability to assess clinical situations and initiate appropriate treatment and interpret laboratory data, respond to emergency situations, coordinate work schedules to achieve maximum productivity and efficiency.

 

Benefits

Salary: $100,000 - $138,000

CME Allowance: $2,000 - $5,000

PTO: 35 days
