Weekend Wrap Up 7.21.17

My typical Friday or Saturday post is an overview of the week's more interesting news stories. Whether they be about a novel healthcare gadget, the recounting of a medical miracle, or simply a must-know healthcare news report, I enjoy keeping up with the latest health happenings. Recently, however, work has been a little crazy and I just can't bring myself to read or listen to the news after a long day. So, today I'm mixing things up.

Summer is by far my favorite time of year. You can't beat grilling out, afternoons at the lake, and just plain spending time outdoors. So in the spirit of the season, I thought I'd pick and choose my favorite 'just for fun' MidlevelU blog tidbits. Check out the following posts for some light weekend reading.

Totally awesome T-shirts for nurse practitioners. A fun way to wear your career on your sleeve. Literally.

This is the best medical work excuse ever written. What's your take on doling out work notes?

The best blinged-out nursing graduation caps. Who's graduating from their NP program next month?!

Bling out your boo boos with these novelty bandages. Bacon, anyone?

Have a fantastic weekend!
